That’s right, the random number generator has spoken, and this week it’s drummed up a dive into the ancient art of Tai Chi for our latest experiment. We’ve decided to go with a “moving meditation” approach to see if the Skeptic can find his center—or if he just finds himself standing awkwardly in the park.
Tai Chi is often shrouded in talk of “Qi” and mystical energy, but we’re stripping that away to see what happens when slow-motion movement meets a modern skeptic. This could turn out to be a massive success for his balance and stress levels, or a failure of patience depending on the Skeptic’s ability to actually slow down for once.
We’re keeping it simple for this trial: no fancy robes, just a commitment to the flow. If anyone has experience using Tai Chi to manage stress or improve mobility—or if you think it’s just glorified stretching—please let us know! We’d love to have your perspectives to back this experiment before the results are in.
